Who you’re buying from. ToucanSim is a small independent reseller. We buy capacity from mobile network partners and resell it as prepaid eSIM plans — we’re not a carrier, and we don’t operate the networks your plan runs on. If an eSIM never installs or can’t be activated, we refund it. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.

Frequently asked questions

Will my phone work with an eSIM?

Most phones released since 2019 support eSIM — iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and most recent Samsung Galaxy models. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. You can check under Settings: if you see an "Add eSIM" (iOS) or "Download a SIM" (Android) option, you are good to go.

When do I get my eSIM?

Immediately. After payment we provision your eSIM automatically — usually within a minute — and show the QR code on your order page. We also email it to you so you can scan it from another screen.

Do these plans include calls or SMS?

No — all plans are data-only. You keep your regular number active for calls and texts (or use apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime and iMessage over data).

When should I install the eSIM?

Install it at home over Wi-Fi before you travel, but keep the line turned off. When you land, enable the eSIM line and turn on data roaming for that line. Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network, not when you buy it.

What if it does not work?

Contact support and we will help you troubleshoot. If an eSIM was never installed and cannot be activated, we will replace it or refund you — see our refund policy.
